MGL update regarding Affiliate Account Information

As most of you know, one of the ways the RPF is working to become self-sustaining is via affiliate relationships with major vendors and licensees. We have noticed that some members are embedding their own affiliate account information into links and images that they post. Not only can this thwart our own efforts to pay for the site but we feel this is misusing the site for personal gain in a way that borders on spamming. With that in mind, we have added the following lines to our Member Guidelines:

Posting, emailing, private messaging, uploading, or otherwise transmitting any content containing affiliate account information is prohibited. Please note, any content transmitted to the site associated with an RPF affiliate may automatically or manually have our affiliate account information appended to it. Removal of this appended information is also prohibited.
