Re: Christmas movies my family looks forward to
It's a tradition that my wife and I watch "White Christmas" on Christmas Eve.
I'd prefer to watch "Batman Returns" or "Lethal Weapon." Kevin |

Re: Christmas movies my family looks forward to
Here we go again:
Trading Places Die Hard Gremlins We're No Angels Holiday Inn and White Christmas Elf Santa Clause 2 Miracle on 34th Street A Christmas Carol Muppet Christmas Carol I may sit through some of the animated and Rankin/Bass shows. Going to try to watch Babes in Toyland this year for the first time, same with Scrooged. Not a big fan of It's a Wonderful Life, can't stand A Christmas Story. Here's to holiday screenings! |

Re: Christmas movies my family looks forward to
I liked the Ron Howard/Jim Carrey "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".
I loved "A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas". "Bad Santa" still tops my list. I heard rumors of a sequel. That would be awesome. |

Muppet Christmas Carol
The kids like to watch the Santa Clause movies, but I can't get into them. And it has been a tradition since it aired, to watch the MacGyver christmas episode (The Madonna, season 5 ep 11) |

Re: Christmas movies my family looks forward to
Well here is my list:
A Christmas Carol, (George C. Scott, best version ever!) Christmas Story Elf, (Uncut, DVD, not USA's rerun all day marathon crap...) It's a Wonderful Life, (Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed=Classic!) Now for the awesome TV classics: Santa Clause is Coming to Town Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer A Charlie Brown Christmas, (I will also listen to the soundtrack repeatedly.) How the Grinch Stole Christmas Batman: The Animated Series episode 2: "Christmas with the Joker." (One of the best episodes ever!) ![]() I am sure I missed a few, but these are the ones I KNOW we'll be watching.

Re: Christmas movies my family looks forward to
Personally, it's not really Christmas unless I watch one of two MST3K episodes:
#321 -- Santa Claus vs. the Martians or #521 -- Santa Claus Usually it helps to have a mini MST3K marathon in there, too, since that's what they used to do back on Comedy Central (also for Thanksgiving). Last edited by Solo4114; 11-15-2011 at 03:29 PM. |
