Huh.. I didn't know Ireland remained neutral either. That was pretty fantastic CGI, costumes and the wreckage of the plane.
As for the tag of 'not so easy to kill man when you look him in the eye,' the German killed his wingman and tried to kill him not once, not twice, but three times, and only got oh so cuddly and conciliatory after he had been beaten in hand to hand combat.
